Lindsay Nothrop and I were happy to see a pair of Hooded Robins keeping very close company with a male Golden Whistler for at least half an hour at Mulligans on Sunday, about 500m northwest of the Black HE dam.  They were with Thornbills (Buff-rumped Striated and Yellow-rumped) and Speckled Warblers etc, as reported by others.  No red robins. This was my first real view of a Nemesis-Bird (Speckled Warbler) so I was doubly pleased.

We also saw a Peregrine Falcon do a single fly-over, this bird doesn't appear on the Mulligan's list.

The next day I didn't see any Peregrine Falcons at The Big Hole, despite a chilly crossing of the Shoalhaven to get there.  I thought from memory that it was a dry-shoe crossing (10 years ago last visit) -- but certainly not now.
