On a splendid morning in Carwoola (10 degrees at 8:30 and no ^%^#@ gale) I went out for a brief run and heard my first Horsefield's Bronze-cuckoo in this area. I recall another recent posting anouncing one in the ACT and hope that, as Jack said on Wednesday evening, a record has been posted for that and any other first return of a migrant species.
