They may be flying to Jerra wetlands/dairy flat or Duntroon
ovals where they are often seen feeding in the afternoon in
Winter.
Is that the right direction? Sometimes they fed just east
of CP (Campbell Park) last winter.

Flying past my office window in Crace
(Gungahlin) just now are ~150 straw-necked ibis appparently battling the
winds and heading south-east. I had a similar observation on Friday around
the same time. Wonder where they are heading?
