A Crescent Honeyeater in the Sydney Gully today. At first it was
acrobatically catching insects from a perch near the large Angophora. Later
it was deep inside a flowering 'green' grevillea at the far eastern part of
Section 191 opposite 195 along with at least 7 Eastern Spinebills.
The Powerful Owl wasn't in its usual haunt today although a vocal Satin
Bowerbird was in paperbark nearby. No sign of the reported Rose Robin in
Section 193 today.
Quite a few Golden Whistlers around including 2 males and a small flock of
White-naped Honeyeaters in the Sydney Gully.
Cheers
