Mid day today the White-fronted Honeyeater was seen
silently feeding (I think plucking insects from foliage) in the Photinia &
Hakea hedge at the front of my house (that is about 2 metres from the
Grevillea). That is the first time I have seen it in there. Not to suggest it
was its first sojourn there, it could easily have been in there well hidden, any
number of times. A few minutes later it was back to the usual.
Also I need to do some form of write up of this
event. I have collected some names of those who have seen it but I could easily
miss out on some people. It would not be nice to accidentally overlook people.
If I have not specifically mentioned you being here, would people please send me
a confirmation message that you should be included (and add if you have photos
of the bird).
It is now into its 5th week on my GBS chart (and I
had almost decided I wasn't going to do another chart this year).
