The owl is back

The Powerful Owl was back at its upper perch at lunchtime today, after being absent for about a week and a half.  The sun was directly behind it when I was there, so I could not see if it was clutching prey as it often is at that perch.
 
Then on to Section 28 to get very close views of the Little Wattlebird (LWB) in the coastal Banksia Ericifolia - maybe it was less homesick in that vegetation.
 
I returned via Tom's seat to contemplate and to watch a procession of birds come in to drink and to bathe.
