Thanks to everyone who responded to my request. I got quite a few emails
covering Nikon, Bushnell and Pentax brands.
It seems there are quite a number of birders out there using and happy with
their Nikon Monarch binos.
I have decided to purchase a pair of Nikon Monarch 8x42s.
