Hi Geoffrey,That would make sense. However, I also see it between a pair (male & female adults) who afterwards (after fighting) carol (territorially?) and look for the world like the most pious pair of Maggies! Do any other birds do it? I think I have a photo of 3 choughs giving it to one other. Probably what you said. Thanks, Tobias |
