D Firetails nest building [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED]

Today at lunchtime at the Gilmore Horse Paddocks a mixed species flock
including at least a dozen Diamond Firetails. Two of which continually flew
to and from a sapling trailing long grass stalks. There was also an
immature bird present. Nearby a flock of ten Brown-headed Honeyeaters were
busy foraging for insects from ground level to the canopy.
