On Saturday while wandering along Halls Creek in Hall I heard, then saw, a
single male Superb Parrot. Its tail was a bit ragged and it was constantly
calling. Considering the time of year it seems unlikely to be a wild bird
and may be the same bird which I have seen on previous occasions in the
Hall-Gungahlin area. In the same area were also some 8 Fuscous Honeyeaters
and a White-naped Honeyeater.
At Percival Hill a mixed species flock included 3 Speckled Warblers and 4
Varied Sittella. At Mt Ainslie some 20 Australian Ravens were harassing a
Wedge-tailed Eagle and one mixed species flock included 4 Speckled
Warblers.
