Since, as far as I can tell, from (a) reading Steve Wilson's book (b) comments by others at lunchtime and (c) the bird not even being listed on the rare birds list, this is a first record for the ACT.  This would make it well beyond a Regent Honeyeater in terms of excitement and your comment is still appropriate.
 
Not that I am bitter and twisted about dipping on the bird this afternoon.
