From the experience / observations of members of the Canberra Indian Myna Action Group, where Indian Mynas are in an area in some numbers Noisy Miners keep their distance.  Indian Mynas keep Noisy Miners out by being aggressive through flocking.  When we reduced Indian Mynas by our trapping activities, Noisy Mynas come in and are no longer intimidated by the few remaining Indian Mynas.  Rosemary, I suspect that is what has been happening around your area.  CIMAG members have taken out 345 mynas from Hughes.
