You have certainly marked the centre of Finch Central with your Y. The X explains why I didn't see the red-capped robins - when I was in that area my attention was closely focussed on the interior of the old sewage pond area. That, as we used to say in Essex, will learn me to look both ways.
I was intending to go back to there this morning. I still might because the area should be a bit sheltered from the tree-bending gale going on her at El Rancho Carwoola.
The track used to go for about 10km, right through to Stockdill Drive at Holt. However in the late 1990s a lessee seems to have built a house very close to where the track was at Stockdill, and to have closed it off there.
