I have just come back from a hike up Harrison's Peak near Captain's Flat. I wandered as far as the gate to Yanununbeyan National Park, below Mt Foxlow. Not a lot of bird activity. Eastern Spinebills feeding on flowering bankisas. Several Superb Lyrebirds calling. And a brief glimpse of a pair of Spotted Quail-thrush along the fire trail.
