Two Noisy Friarbirds in the top of a big Yellow Box in Mt Ainslie NR behind our house this morning. They were there for about 5 minutes before disappearing. First I have seen for a few weeks and the first at our GBS site since mid March. A little topical given Michael Lenz's intriguing talk on them last Wednesday night.

Also a cracking male Superb Parrot which has been hanging around for a few days. I seem to remember trying to pass it off as some escaped rubbish a little while back, it appears my knowledge of Superb parrot calls isn't as good as I thought it was.
cheers

Steve
