A pair of Chestnut Teal enjoying quiet conditions at FSP yesterday.   I confess I cannot confidently separate the females from Grey Teal and infer the species from the company ‘it’ keeps as the suggested differences seem  little use in practice.  Inset is the head of a nearby (assumed) Grey Teal.  I wonder what the counters do?
