Philip  -  I think we should keep open all hypotheses until they are excluded by the evidence.  One way to approach the matter would be to consider what unusual events have occurred recently and ask whether they could be connected  g

It is those Little Eagles with the Blue-billed Duck's bill that Geoffrey Dabb sent us all a photo of recently. They like eating car number plates.

Got my car out this morning and discovered the number plates had been stolen. The last place I had left the car for any length of time was the Kellys Swamp carpark yesterday afternoon so it seems likely the evil deed was done there. I did notice a couple of other vehicles driving up and down Dairy Rd but suspected nothing. Very, very annoying.
