Excellent photos Matthew! Only wish I hadn't caught the bus today so
I could come and check them out....
For those of you who are able to go see them, I have a challenge for
you - see how many birds are juveniles. Juveniles have generally
duller plumage (as do some females), but the best feature to tell is
by looking at the iris (in good light) - juveniles have a dark
(brown) iris whereas adults are yellow.
The flock that were at Mt Majura previously were predominantly (about
75% if remember correctly) juveniles,
