Yesterday, I rang my friends at Warragandra homestead on the banks of
Jerrabatgulla Creek, south of Braidwood where we have seen thousands of
migrating yellow faced honey eaters migrating in previous years. I was
told that the birds started flying through in large numbers on April 5th;
and are continuing to fly through.

I also rang a friend at Berrima who has been reporting the migration of
the honey eaters for many years. She said that she saw the first flocks
flying through on Easter Sunday, ie April 8th. She counted 3000 in 3 hours.
