overhead in loose groups over our Chapman house for
much of the afternoon today. Could be picked up by their calls and seen
about 50-100 m high feeding and drifting slowly over in a N/NNE direction.
Maximum together about 8, Welcome Swallows with them on a couple of
occasions. Also heard over yesterday but much easier to pick up in
today's calmer conditions.
Also heard my first Noisy Friarbird for a month
briefly yesterday. However, very few Yellow-faced Honeyeaters so far over
Easter, even with today's better conditions.
