In Wamboin Tonight

Tonight I heard a loud owl-like screech and bolted outside (with camera) and found this Southern Boobook, and also a family of Common Ringtails. It's our first Boobook in many years, though Ringtails and Brushtails are more prevalent (also heard Sugar Gliders yapping).
