We have two hazel trees in our back yard (two, because they are not
self-fertile), which even in the driest years manage to produce a few
nuts with no watering.

This morning I discovered that the Cockies had discovered this food
resource! I would imagine they would be the only local parrot with a
powerful enough beak to crack the shells, unless a YTBC drops by.

Looks like we won't be getting any nuts for ourselves now.
