At lunchtime today at the top end of Lake Ginninderra about 100m from
the fence across the lake there was a strikingly marked pied Coot.
Unfortunately it was miles from the bank so no chance of a
photograph. At least 2 Great Egrets present but no sign of Brown
Quail today.
