Despite the rain last night, Kellys Swamp is still dry today (the ground slightly damp in places). Lots of vegetation growth on what were the exposed mudflats when the swamp dried out last December.
 
Not many species about during the couple of hours we were there - but interesting ones to see and watch were a Dollarbird, at least 3 Reed-warblers, a party of 4 Black-faced Cuckoo Shrikes (2 adults and 2 immatures) and 2 Golden-headed Cisticolas.
