Hello everyone

 

Well that's a first for the ACT!  If it could be enticed back into its cage we could ignore it totally.

 

There are 311 species recorded on the COG database, with 4 of those reported 3 times or fewer over the 20 year period.

The blackish honeyeater hasn’t made it in yet. 

So the issue remains as to how we treat these observations, particularly for chooks and other introduced species, particularly those which may never be sighted for another 20 years.

A single bird of Numida meleagris in a small park at Dutton St off Majura

Ave in Dickson yesterday. For the brief period I observed it it

successfully saw off a magpie.

 

I notice this species is not in the COG Online Date Entry System

(cogatlas).
