Right at dusk on Monday evening while searching for Brown Quail I observed an Intermediate Egret on the eastern shore in the fenced off area at about the point that Dumas St intersects with William Slim Drive. Also, a male Australian Shoveller was present at the point where Ginninderra Creek becomes the lake. A telescope would be useful because viewing is from the western side. No sign of the Royal Spoonbills that have been around for several weeks.
