The wider expanse of water between Tadorna and Fulica hides is indeed called Jerrabomberra Pool in the draft management plan - http://www.environment.act.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/41172/Jerrabombera_Wetlands_final.pdf

There appears to be no body of water called Jerrabomberra Waters on that map (sounds more like a developers name for a housing development to me!). the (legally restricted access) palaeochanels are called the Jerrabomberra Backwaters, and the stretch of water from where the Drongo was seen to the lake (ie from about the powerlines downstream) is called Jerrabomberra Reach.

Thanks Frank.

From memory I think the JW management plan refers to this area as
'Jerrabomberra Pool'. But dont quote me on it.
Although I tend to like the name you have used.

Cheers

Marnix, I'm replying via the list in case others were wondering too, or
indeed if I have it wrong and somebody would like to correct me...
My understanding is that the wider part of Jerrabomberra Creek between the
Tadorna and Fulica hides at Jerrabomberra Wetlands is named Jerrabomberra
Water.  The birds I mentioned were viewed from the Tadorna hide.

Frank
