dropped in at Norgrove Park in Kingston this afternoon.  apart from around 45 
wood ducks, 6 swamphens and quite a number of clamorous reed warblers (being 
non-clamorous for the most part), there was a black-fronted dotterel wandering 
along the muddy bank at end of the larger water body.  4 black ducks on the 
water, and another sitting awkwardly on one of the low walkways over the water 
(which are currently blocked from access) - when it stood up it was obvious it 
had a very large growth (bigger than a golf ball) on one foot).  Appeared very 
miserable.
there appears to have been large quantity of material washed into the pond 
system in the recent storms
