Today at about 7.30 p.m. I observed a Satin Bowerbird from inside my lounge room window. Unusual for mid summer, then another appeared and was fed by the first. It was a quick look but enough to see a difference in the pattern and it must be a mum with child. That is a first for my garden and a rare obs for the suburbs.
