With the earlier reports of this species from Mark Clayton and Ian Anderson I have again checked on the whereabouts of the 2 Ainslie birds: one male I noticed first on 3 Oct., the second on 19 Dec., both have been residing along Cowper Street ever since. Initially they moved around more widely, but are now most reliably found in the areas originally occupied. As far as I can tell both are single. Let's hope it stays that way.
