The Macquarie bird, which prefers the nw corner, has called again this morning.
Despite 6 attempts to see it this week, every time I arrive in the vicinity,
it stops calling and as soon as I get home, it starts again.

Subject: BM Koels
I'd speculate that the Koels reported by Brendan are the same pair I
reported a few days ago from Frogatt Street in Turner. They changed
their routine yesterday and I did not hear them from O'Connor
yesterday evening or this morning. Any activity in Maquarie this
morning?
