In the driveway/parking areas of our complex today at noon (Christmas day) on Jerrabomberra Ave were two peacocks (i.e. male) wandering around looking healthy and not stressed, but a little out of place. I had to go out, so gave them water and mixed seed just in case, neither of which seemed to interest them. They weren't particularly wary, but not entirely tame either. Needless to say when I got back they were gone. I wonder if this incident is related to the Brockman St Narrabundah peacock that turned up and stayed 10(?) years ago.
