Following Judith Scarl's talk on Galahs at the last COG meeting, I have been keeping an eye out for wing-tagged birds. This evening two were feeding on seedpods in an Acacia cognata in our backyard. The female had a red tag RA, the male a black one, T1.

Following the colour-banded Grey fantail the other day our garden seems to be a minor hotspot for marked birds. Don't suppose anyones been banding Black Honeyeaters?

cheers

Steve
