4 Terns seen approx 6.30 pm wheeling over the central basin of LBG.  They
were approx 2/3 size of the also present Silver Gulls, and were "dipping to
the surface to pick up prey" - behaviour suggested for Whiskered Terns in
Readers Digest Bird book.  Simpson & Day illustrations suggest Wiskered
Terns, as does history as recorded in the Birds of the ACT Atlas, so I'll
stick my neck out and say there were 4 Whiskered Terns at LBG today.
