I did a similar 'circuit' to Marnix, but on foot - six hours. Highlights were the breeding colony of White-browed Woodswallows and 3 Hooded Robins - male, female and an immature male together, but my best efforts for a family photo failed :( Regards Frank > A grand total of 66 species within 3 hours spent riding around the south > and > east of Mulligans Flat Reserve in the morning. Highlights were 50-60 > White-browed Woodswallows (breeding - plenty of nests found), abundant > White-winged Trillers (up to 12 in the east), Horsfield's Bronze-Cuckoo > and > Pallid Cuckoo, some 12 Superb Parrots (all heading in a southerly or > south-westerly direction), immature and female Red-capped Robins, Dusky > Woodswallows, Speckled Warblers, White-necked Herons on 2 separate dams, > Leaden Flycatchers, several Shingleback Skinks and a Wedge-tailed Eagle > being harassed by a probable Collared Sparrowhawk. > > Later in the afternoon a drive around the Hall area produced White-browed > Woodswallow breeding colonies at Hall TSR (20 birds), along Wallaroo Rd > (4+) > and Brooklands Rd (20). > > Cheers > Marnix > Attachment:
