A grand total of 66 species within 3 hours spent riding around the south and east of Mulligans Flat Reserve in the morning. Highlights were 50-60 White-browed Woodswallows (breeding - plenty of nests found), abundant White-winged Trillers (up to 12 in the east), Horsfield's Bronze-Cuckoo and Pallid Cuckoo, some 12 Superb Parrots (all heading in a southerly or south-westerly direction), immature and female Red-capped Robins, Dusky Woodswallows, Speckled Warblers, White-necked Herons on 2 separate dams, Leaden Flycatchers, several Shingleback Skinks and a Wedge-tailed Eagle being harassed by a probable Collared Sparrowhawk.

Later in the afternoon a drive around the Hall area produced White-browed Woodswallow breeding colonies at Hall TSR (20 birds), along Wallaroo Rd (4+) and Brooklands Rd (20).

Cheers
Marnix
