definitely seem to be quite a few around this year - frequently seeing them now flying over Wanniassa towards Tuggeranong town centre area in the early morning , and one afternoon last week had 16 of them in the gum trees and on wires in my back garden in late afternoon - until a couple of weeks ago had not seen them at all in my garden

Just a short while ago - 8.30 am - as we were walking on the footpath which borders Tharwa Drive, Gordon about 300 metres from its junction with Knoke Avenue,  2 Little Corellas flew past heading south towards that junction. My first observation of Little Corellas in this southern part of Gordon for just over a week and the first time I have seen them moving in that direction in the morning. Past observations (not many) have seen the birds headed towards Tuggeranong in the morning and towards the south of Gordon/Lanyon Homestead area in the late afternoon.
