If that is three hobbies, as in an adult pair and fledged young, that is exceptionally early in the year for this stage of the breeding season, in early November. They are normally at that stage in January and February. Yet the long-term situation may be changing, with birds arriving and breeding early or maybe not migrating away at all. When you say "one of them looked like an immature bird following an adult which was carrying prey" did it look like an immature bird in plumage stage or is that a conclusion based on behaviour, so that for example it could be courtship feeding?
