I just thought I'd share this charming email I received this morning
from a regular poster to the list. My reason for doing is partly
therapeutic I'm afraid, because it did have the effect of upsetting me
somewhat; I'm not sure that I deserved it, but then again I'm biased!
>Water flows into Fivebough or anywhere else in the real world are not
in the realm of left-wing, farmer-phobic Canberra greenies. They should
take their useless college degrees and have a sleep-over at Bob Brown's
place.
For the record (in case I've somehow given the impression elsewhere),
I'm far from being 'farmer-phobic'. I have farmers in the family, have
spent time on the land and am a big fan of the Tuckerbil and Fivebough
Trust, which mostly comprises farmers. (I'm also not certain what a
'college degree' is, but I don't have such a thing.) However, I don't
suppose prejudice is that interested in facts.
OK , thanks for letting me get that off my chest. I'm always very
welcoming of constructive criticism, but for now I've now adjusted my
computer so it won't be receiving from that source in future.
happy birding all
Ian
