The lakes and lagoons to our north have all dried out now. Even Wet Lagoon appears dry compared to last month. Despite this I counted 4 Swamp Harriers here. Another interesting sighting was an Emu in grassland by a dam just up the road from Wet Lagoon NR.

Australian Shelduck were seen on dams at Crisps Creek (22), Wollogorang Rd (1) and Bungendore STW (2). Other highlights were a White-necked Heron along Marked Tree Rd and the many (alive) Blotched Blue-tongues, Shinglebacks and Bearded Dragons by the road.

Cheers
Marnix
