Was also at Kelly's for a couple of hours this arvo and also lucked out on
interesting interlopers mentioned previously though should mention 3 x
Rainbow Bee-Eaters moving through and numerous Sacred Kingfischers here and
there (across the bridge). In relation to the Turk mentioned, there is a
solitary flowering Ironbark at the location mentioned which would make it
feel 'at home' somewhat, or would a packet of No Frills Sunflower seeds and
a four foot piece of dowling be more appropriate?

Dropped in to Kellys Swamp this evening to check out the oddities recently
reported.
No sign of Turquoise Parrot or Little Bittern.
Thanks to John and Kathy for showing me where Crake Alley is. We saw
Baillon's, Spotted and Spotless Crakes, Buff-banded Rail and Latham's
Snipe, all in about ten minutes.
While looking at the crakes the single Glossy Ibis shot past heading for
the lake.
Didn't get to look at the stint as time was devoted to looking for the
bittern. I've lost count of the number of hours/days spent at Kellys
looking for bitterns...
Cheers
Anthony
