My wife and I have heard a Boobook around Manuka and Deakin on three occasions in the past week.  Although the sites are some 2 km or so apart, I am guessing that it is the same bird because of the size of their territories.  We have heard a Boobook nearby to our home in previous seasons, but not continuing like this.  Perhaps a breeding prospect?
