I agree wholeheartedly with Julian.  I know that Ian is selling himself short.  He can come to terms with the technology of emails as he has done expertly with his guest slot on the ABC radio. 
 
On another note, to the bird experts out there, many of us struggle to identify birds and do ask dumb questions (or don't ask questions at all through fear of embarrassment etc) so let the experts be more tollerant and the rest of us be more adventuresome by asking more questions and we will have an even better COG line (and it is bloody good already).
