According to Ian Sinclair's 'Birds of the Indian Ocean Islands' (2003) the L/Hand bird looks like a male Aldabra Fody Foudia aldabrana, and the R/Hand bird seems to be a male Forest Fody Foudia omissa, from eastern Madagascar.

The other related species, all with similar colouration in the males, but with differing amounts of red, are:
Madagascar Fody F. madagascariensis (male almost completely red)
Mauritius Fody F. rubra
Comoro Fody F. eminentissima

Cheers
