Can we be simple about this please. MFF = Mixed Feeding Flock. That is what started it. It is a simple acronym, known by most. If someone doesn't know it, that is fine. They are fully entitled to ask. It is not a dumb question. The question asked once, is enough to indicate that it is preferable to try to be clear. Also be tolerant when people forget. It is not such a big deal. Once the answer is given, surely that is all there is to it and we should be able to just move on.
