Hardheads are often present in one or other of the two small ponds
known as Jarramlee Pond and Fassifern Pond ( previously Pond 1 and
Pond 2) in the Dunlop area. Two on Jarramlee Pond this
morning. There were also a large number of them (31 by my count) on
West Belconnen Pond on 13 July.

There were 4 Hardhead in residence at 'Kamberra Wetland' yesterday
afternoon. In my experience its a bit unusual for this species to be
found on such a small dam.
The local Coots raised one young 2 months back.

P.S. 'Kamberra Wetland' is along Sullivans Creek at Kamberra Wines.
