However I wonder if the two Freckled Ds are not still there, as
reported by Steve the week before? They were both there on
Wednesday. In a large grouping they tend to mooch separately, but they
were feeding in company, upending-style along the margins, and sitting together
to preen. I could not detect any of the reddish breeding colour on the

Australasian
shovelers, Pink-eared ducks, grey teals, hardheads, hoary-headed
grebes, and
