Dear Birding Aus-ers,
I am seeking your help in locating and recording
Osprey nests in NSW.
*Osprey Watch* is a *Foundation for National Parks and
Wildlife* project building a picture of the
distribution of nesting Ospreys across NSW. Launched
on Friday 23 June, there has already been some new and
exciting reports, with Osprey reported nesting in the
Hunter Valley for the first time since 1984, reports
of a nest in the upper reaches of the Macleay Valley,
more than 100km upstream of the river mouth, and a
nest on the Taree telecom tower that already has
chicks out and testing their wings!.
