No, it's not a pub.

I think it was last Spring, I came across John Layton watching a pair of B-S Kites hunting over the grassed paddocks north of Rocky Knoll on the Lake Ginninderra peninsula. A few minutes later we watched a Goshawk being mobbed by magpies over the lake to the east. In a slighly errie re-enactment yesterday, a pair of B-S Kites, perhaps the same pair, settled above me in the treetops on Rocky Knoll, and about 20 minutes later, I came across a Goshawk being harassed by Currawongs in the tall eucalytps at the southern end of the peninsula. Other items of interest were a Grey Currawong and a pair of Dusky Woodswallows, which are either back very early or just decided to hang around this winter.
