The P Robin was at the previously reported spot again this morning  -  although only for relatively brief periods.  On this occasion, as it was calm with little garden racket, an aid to locating it was its soft but distinct 'tick'.  [ "Attention may first be attracted by hearing Tick ... which is said to be the normal call."  -  HANZAB ]

Having managed to be 2500km away when these turned up, I'm only now

trying. If anyone has seen them in the last few days (ie since reports

to this line), or even looked and not seen them, I'd be grateful to hear

hypothermic vigil early yesterday on the Melville Hall balcony for the
